How Can I Help?

There are many ways to donate. The final cost of the Tuosist Community Complex will be more than €1.5 million. We will apply for all available grants; however the majority of the money will come from fundraising. 

This is where you come in! 

We are asking that donors commit to investing in the Complex for 5 years. Outlined on the next page are the monthly payment options. 

Tuosist GAA Club are an ‘Approved Sports Body’ with the Revenue, which allows us to claim tax relief on your donations.

  • If an individual donates €250 or more in a year, the approved body to the club can claim a refund of tax paid on that donation.

  • If you individually or jointly pay any tax under the self-assessment scheme, in your tax return you can directly claim tax relief on your donations. For example, if a self-assessed individual, who pays income tax at the higher rate of 40%, makes a donation of €1,000 to the Club, the value of that donation to the Club is €1,000. However, the actual cost of the donation to the individual may be calculated as follows:

    • Donation received by the club €1,000

    • Tax relief available to the donor €400

    • Actual after-tax cost of donation to the donor €600

  • In the case of corporate donations, the company is entitled to claim a deduction for the donation as if it were a trading expense. For example, if a company makes a donation of €1,000 to the Club, the value of that donation to the Club is €1,000. However, the actual cost of the donation to the company may be calculated as follows:

    • Donation received by the club €1,000

    • Tax relief available to the company as deductible expense at 12.5% €125

    • Actual after-tax cost of donation to the donor €875

Levels of Donations 
are as Follows:

TIER 1

€25 per month
Equivalent to €300 per Annum

TIER 1 CORPORATE

€1,000 per Annum

Benefit to Donor:

· 4x2 advertisement board on the complex
· Company promoted on our social media

TIER 2

€40 per month
Equivalent to €480 per Annum

TIER 2 CORPORATE

€5,000 per Annum

Benefit to Donor:
· Donor included in Donors Draw
· 8x2 advertisement board along the pitch
· Company promoted on our social media 
· Company added to our website as a main sponsor

TIER 3

€80 per month
Equivalent to €960 per Annum

For larger corporate donations, 
we are offering lifetime membership. 

Irish American
Partnership

100 cents of every dollar goes directly to Tuosist GAA

Tuosist GAA have teamed up with the Irish American partnership in Boston. By doing this, donors who wish to contribute to our Club can do so by sending the funds through the Irish American Partnership. 100 cents on the dollar comes directly to the Club, but the donor can avail of tax relief as the Irish American Partnership are registered 501©3 charitable organisation.
